Dimitris Pappas has studied physics at the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki and went on to do his Msc at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is currently writing his thesis at the same university, titled “Consciousness, given or emerging trait”, a theme that combines philosophy with the study of the mind, through contemporary cognitive science. He is a professional science, informatics and mathematics teacher since 2003. At the same time he composes and materializes innovative and interactive science teaching programs that combine different scientific fields, even construction skills. In this context he has created the âMindFestâ interactive exhibition for the mind and knowledge (www.mindfest.org). He is a partner of the Herakleidon Museum in a series of exhibitions and tours, as well as the Ekaterini Laskaridi foundation in a series of educational programs for children, about physics, philosophy and the brain. He is also responsible for many robotics workshops in different organizations and societies.
